Browser storage & backups

Where your records live

KM Report saves its records locally in this browser on this device. IndexedDB holds your daily records, selected screenshot images, imported trip details, edit history and report profile. localStorage holds OCR language and date-order preferences. The OCR engine may cache downloaded language models separately.

These storage mechanisms support the features you request. This application does not offer optional advertising or analytics cookies to enable or disable. Cloudflare currently sets the technical security cookie __cf_bm when delivering this website; see the Privacy page for provider details.

Moving devices or domains

Browser storage belongs to the exact website origin. Data saved at the original chatgpt.site address does not automatically appear at km-report.app. Different browsers, browser profiles and devices also have separate storage.

Before switching, open “Backup & help” on the old address and download a backup. Then open the new address, choose “Restore backup” and review the result. Restoring replaces current local records; download a backup of them first.

Removing data

“Delete local records” removes daily records and screenshots from the application's saved state while retaining report profile fields and browser preferences. To remove the profile, preferences and cached models too, clear all site data for this domain in your browser settings.

Downloaded reports and backups are independent files. Clearing browser data does not delete them or any copies you have placed in email, cloud storage or another device.

A backup contains personal information

Backups can include screenshots, names, addresses, earnings and archived records from source replacements. Store them somewhere you trust and share them only when needed.

Your browser may remove local storage under storage pressure. Private browsing and clearing site data can also remove records. Keep your original evidence and regular backups.
